Just got back in from the Reading Festival.
Camped out in a tent for a few nights with nothing to eat except for the stash of dried food purchased a few days previously.
Why, why, WHYYYY must festival food be so crap and expensive? £4.50 for 6 Donuts. (Yes, that was the spelling used)
Reading was great. Ought to do it again if Icklesnail agrees.
The Comedy Tent (which became my hang-out) ranged from good to just goddam awful. Apparently, an American Comedian got heckled off on Saturday. Comedy at Reading is well under rated, so a visit is a must. Some sketches were just foul mouthed and simply not funny. COME ON D00D! The Michael Jackson trial jokes are getting very OLD now, and cussing the C and F words is NOT FUNNY without a context. Even I can do that.
Terrorism seems to be topical. Aaah! Mocking the Pope and other Religions is time tested topic.
SOME B@ST@RD(S) stole our inflatable chair. F*****(S), C***(S).. Didn't have anywhere to sit to drink our beer.
From the Bourgeois to Chav the pleasure of sitting with an alcohlic beverage is one of those activities which we all have an common.
